Hello Everyone! Mother's Day is just around the corner and I decided I would make my mom something to complete relax and unwind. Everyone needs something like that - am I right? Today I will show you how to make your very own relaxing bath salts for the mother in your life.

You Will Need:
• Epsom Salts (3/4 cup)
• Course Sea Salt (1/2 cup)
• Soap Coloring
• Essential Oils (I got the stress blend from Michaels)
• Whisk
• Bowl
• Jars or Containers

1 | Begin my mixing the epsom salt and sea salt together with a whisk. Making sure to shift everything together evenly. Once this is complete fill one container and pour back into a seperate bowl to colour. If you are doing everything as one colour you do not have to do this step.

2 | Once separated add roughly 5 drops of the essential oil and whisk together with all your salts. Do this until you like the scent.

3 | Next take your colouring (I got mine at Michaels) and add in as many drops as you'd like. Start with roughly 6 and add more until you have your desired colour. I recommend using soap colouring as it does not dye your skin like food colouring can. Whisk all of this together.

4 | Next spoon your mix into a jar and seal. Continue this step until you have all three colours. This mix fills the 3 containers I bought perfectly.

Now all you have to do is wrap it with maybe some ribbon and give it to your mom (or wife, or grandma or friend... the list goes on). I hope you enjoy this little DIY. I will be posting one more Mother's Day themed post for some printable cards so be sure to look out for those.

Thanks for reading/watching!
xxKelsey
